🚨EMERGENCY TORNADO RECOVERY FUND

Tornado Devastates Our Southern Rescue Center – We Need Your Help Now

Disaster has struck our Almost Home Wellness Center in Aiken, South Carolina—again.

Last week, a powerful tornado tore through the heart of our southern rescue operations with almost no warning. In just minutes, high winds destroyed outdoor kennels, tore down fencing, scattered critical supplies, and left our team scrambling to protect the dogs who depend on us.

Thanks to the quick action of our staff, every dog and every team member is safe—but the damage is severe.

Almost Home is the first stop for dogs rescued from abuse, abandonment, and overcrowded shelters. It’s where they begin their journey to safety before traveling to Home for Good Dog Rescue in New Jersey. And now, this vital lifeline is in crisis.

What We’re Facing

  • Extensive damage to outdoor pens, fencing, and shelter structures

  • Loss of essential supplies like food, bowls, bedding, and cleaning products

  • Disruption of medical care and transport efforts

  • A facility still reeling from a similar disaster less than a year ago

We cannot rebuild without your support.

How You Can Help

Your donation to our Emergency Tornado Recovery Fund will:

  • Support critical repairs to infrastructure and enclosures

  • Replace necessary supplies to care for dogs in need

  • Fund emergency transport of dogs from South Carolina to New Jersey

  • Provide ongoing medical care for dogs still relying on this facility
