There is really no way to put the joy of the work into words; When you volunteer at your first “Transport Day,” and 30 sleepy, starving pups amble off a van straight from Georgia or South Carolina where they would have been euthanized if not for you and every volunteer around you. You bathe, feed, comfort these frightened creatures, and when you see them a few days later at an adoption event, they are happy, trusting pups emanating gratitude. The transformation of these lives is made possible by our volunteers on a weekly basis.
Requirements to volunteer:
• A love for dogs
• A strong desire to save and improve the lives of innocent pups
• There is no time commitment, but when you are with us we expect hard work and dedication
• All are welcome; Our volunteers range in age from nine to 69.
