Home for Good Dog Rescue is excited to announce our official partnership with Open Road Subaru of Union as part of the nationwide Subaru Loves Pets® initiative!
Every October during National Adopt a Shelter Dog Month, Subaru and its local retailers work together to unite shelter animals with loving families. Nationally, the Subaru Loves Pets campaign has helped save more than 250,000 animals. Because of this amazing legacy, we are proud to join forces with Open Road Subaru to host our official Subaru Loves Pets adoption event right here in New Jersey.

Celebrating #MakeADogsDay — October 22
Our celebration continues throughout October! On October 22, we join Subaru in celebrating National #MakeADogsDay. This annual holiday encourages everyone to do something special for shelter pets, especially rescue “Underdogs” (senior dogs and pets with special needs who often wait longer for homes).
Get Involved & Follow Along
Keep following our social channels all month long as we share adoptable pet profiles, rescue updates, and foster opportunities. Help us spread the word, share our posts, and make a real difference for dogs in need!
